American designer and street artist Shepard Fairey got to create a patch for the International Space Station (ISS). Shepard got the chance to design a nex patch that astronauts will wear on the CASIS – ARK1 which is scheduled to happen in September 2013 to March 2014. “It’s a really special thing,” said Fairey. “I’m just flattered and honored that I could create something that becomes just a small symbol of how things can move forward.” Here are some pictures of the patches and video of his thoughts on it.
