Who design’s the UFC’s posters? That’s what I asked myself this weekend as I watched the “Ultimate Fighter Finale” on tv. I always see their posters online and am surprised to see that they are so generic. I mean, they do serve a purpose and communicate the event but can’t they be a bit more creative in doing so? The poster’s showcase great photography and photoshop skills but that is it. I wondered, are all MMA organizations ads similar to the UFC?
I went on google in search of MMA poster’s. I was surprised (well, not that surprised) to see that Japan’s MMA poster’s were much more creative. Their use of typography, grids and color were far from generic. Here are a few poster’s I found to be above average.
